Refunds for classroom programmes

These rules apply to Breakout Strategy Lab cohorts, weekend clinics, evening workshops, replay evenings, and individual plan reviews at Utility Harborbase Institute, 40-44 Thepkrasattri Road Town, Phuket, Phuket, 83000. They do not cover goods we do not sell, shipping, or software subscriptions. Last updated 19 August 2026.

Eligibility and timeframe

Write to lab@utilityharborbase.click or call +66 76 213 441 if you want a refund. We need the name on the cohort letter, the programme, and the dates. Requests made more than 14 days after the last scheduled session of that programme are late unless we cancelled the remaining hours.

Full refund

You receive a full refund of fees paid to us if we cancel a cohort, clinic, workshop, replay evening, or review and cannot offer a replacement date you accept, or if you withdraw in writing at least 7 full days before the first session and no printed pack has been issued to you.

Partial refund

If you withdraw in writing between 6 days and 48 hours before the first session, we refund 50% of fees paid after keeping a scheduling deposit of THB 1,500 (or the full fee if it is smaller). If you have already attended one or more sessions of a multi-week lab, we refund a pro-rata amount for sessions not yet held, minus the same scheduling deposit, provided you write before the next session starts.

Non-refundable items

Printed chart packs and checklists already handed to you are non-refundable. A completed 50-minute plan review is non-refundable. A replay evening that has already started is non-refundable for that night.

Deposits

A cohort letter may ask for a deposit to hold a chair. That deposit is part of the programme fee if you attend. It is treated under the full/partial rules above if you withdraw. Deposits are not a separate product.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may ask once, at least 48 hours before a clinic, workshop, replay, or review, to move to the next published date of the same programme if a chair exists. Lab cohorts cannot be split across two calendar groups except at our discretion when an instructor is ill.

No-shows

If you miss a session without writing to the desk, that session is treated as delivered. We do not refund no-shows. If you miss a lab evening, you may collect the printed pack at the next session; the missed board argument is not repeated privately unless you book a plan review.

Work already started

Once a lab evening, clinic, or workshop has begun (instructor present and chart on screen), that sitting is started work. Remaining future sittings of a multi-week lab still follow the partial-refund rule if you withdraw in time.

Purchased materials

We do not sell a separate shop of materials. Packs are part of attendance. Unused packs still in our cupboard after a withdrawal may be withheld and are not credited beyond the rules above.

Process, timing, and method

We confirm receipt of a refund request within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid (bank transfer in Thailand is typical) within 14 business days after approval. We do not refund in cash at the door.

Exceptions

If flooding, a government order, or building closure stops us from opening, we offer a new date or a full refund of unused sessions. Medical withdrawals with a brief note from a clinic in Thailand are considered under the partial-refund rule even inside 48 hours, at the desk’s discretion.
